Southern Slumber was born in the still, quiet hours of new motherhood — in the rocking chair at 2 a.m., with my baby girl Elise in my arms and dreams in my heart. Like so many moms, I wanted the very best for my little one: soft, breathable pajamas that felt like a hug, designs that brought a smile, and quality I could count on, wash after wash.

But when I looked around, everything felt the same — too plain, too rough, or just not us. I couldn’t find clothing that felt fun, Southern, and thoughtfully made. So I started creating it.

In May 2022, Southern Slumber officially launched with our very first bamboo pajamas. From the start, our mission has been simple: to create buttery-soft sleepwear and playwear that celebrates childhood and brings a little Southern charm to everyday moments.

Every design is inspired by the magic of raising little ones — crawfish boils, porch hangs, messy snacks, bedtime stories. And every piece is made from ultra-soft, hypoallergenic bamboo fabric that keeps your kids cozy in every season.

In 2024, we walked through a long year of IVF to grow our family. In April 2025, our son Otto arrived — and he wore Southern Slumber in his first days earthside. Watching both my babies grow up in these clothes has been the sweetest reminder of why I started this in the first place.
